What Causes A Red Sore On The Back Of The Upper Leg?
Question: Hi. My husband has a big round and red sore on the back of his upper leg. It was very, very red a week ago but is not as red now but the skin is now starting to peel off. It is perfectly round with the peeling part in the center. Any ideas? Thank you.
Brief Answer:
Photograph required
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query.
Probably he has developed fungal infection or an adverse drug reaction.
I would like to see a photograph of the involved area.
This will help me in giving a closer diagnosis and better way of management.
There is an option to upload photograph on right side of query page.
Please utilize that.
I would also like to know whether he developed this lesion after taking any medication.
Waiting for your response.
Thank you.

Hello Doctor. I have tried a few times to send a picture of my husband's "sore" to no avail I guess. Probably not much else you can tell me without seeing the sore.??
Thank you.
Thank you.
