What Causes A Red Spot On The Penis Along With Bloating?
Question: Hi Doc,
I have a little red irritated spot on my penis. Bloating, pressure at night and naseua in the morning and random headaches. My gf had a uti recently. No ulceration of this spot just a red irritatated spot doesnt hurt to touch, no pus or anything. I have used lotromin and clotrimozole for about a week now. I have been tested recently and everything came back normal. No unprotected sex. I have had something like this before as well. It seems to start to get better with rest etc but as soon as we have sex it turns res agian and my symptoms come back. What could this be? Thanks for your help.

Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I am Dr Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, a dermatologist.
I have gone through your complaints and seen the attached photograph.
It seems to be friction dermatitis associated with sex and masturbation.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to apply topical steroids like cortisone cream on the affected area twice daily for 7-10 days.
This should resolve it.
Regards
Dr Asmeet

Habe you seen herpes like this before? Im just concerned about my stomach bloating and nasuea in the mornings and headaches in the front of my head.
Brief Answer:
Herpes doesn't have this kind of presentation
Detailed Answer:
Welcome back,
Herpes doesn't have this kind of presentation.
It usually presents with painful fluid filled blisters which rupture to form painful erosions which heal in 2-3 weeks.
As I've mentioned earlier your other symptoms can be related to hyper-acidity problem and you need to consult an internal medicine doctor for the same.
