Regarding your concern, I would explain that it depends on the drug and its half life ( the period of time needed by the body to eliminate half of the circulating drug) to determine if it is better take it once or twice daily.

Some drugs are taken once daily, without cosidering blood pressure fluctuations. A higher dose can help reduce blood pressure fluctuations.
