Question: Hi, I am 22 and 2days back I was masterbating using a condom and suddenly I experienced a shock like. Then immediately I removed the condom and found my penis was shrinking and lost all the senses in penis and abdoman region. My penis is still numb. What to do...please help

I can sense my skin and also when I am urinating...bt it is feeling like my penis is cold. And I can't feel it...and today morning only I got an erection when I was sleeping...bt then when II was trying to masterbate it is not happening...I don't have any medical history.

Hi,

The shock like experience you developed during masturbation may be due to vasovagal response. This may not be serious all the time .

However it would be good to have a physical examination done.

The other things you described about shrinkage and loosing senses in penis could be due to the apprehension and anxiety you developed due to the shock like experience.I do not think that there is anything serious with the symptoms you mentioned as your erection resumed to normal i.e morning erection while sleeping but i think that the anxiety and the apprehension is still bothering you and so unable to masturbate properly.
Only thing i want to suggest is to get a general physical examination done by your physician and thereby get reassured.

But I still can't feel my penis. I need to touch it to make it sure that it is still there. What should I do to regain my senses as before? And will I face any problem in maintaining an intimate relationship?
