Question: Hi, My son has a quick small bulge that surfaces then disappears and can be felt on his lower right side of his back when he breathes deeply. Should we be concerned? Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Nothing worrisome at this time. Monitor only!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Because there are no other symptoms of pain or breathing difficulties associated with this reported bulge, there is no real urgency. I will suggest that you monitor only for now and only seek further care if new symptoms such as pain and breathing symptoms set in. At his next scheduled regular visit, you might want to mention this to the doctor for review.

I wish your son well. If you have any further worries, share them with me for more insights.
