Question: I was just asleep and felt a cough coming on. I sat up and felt liquid rinning down my nose. I thought my nose was bleeding. when I leaned over water just poured out of my nose like a faucet. scary

Hi Madam,

Welcome to HCM,

I can understand your concerns.

Your symptoms are of viral illness.It will resolve spontaneously within three to five days.

l generally advise my patients with these symptoms Oral tablets of Tab.Levocet twice daily and syrup Zedex 10ml bed time for 3days.


So please check with your doctor and see whether he opines with the same.

Nothing to worry. Take plenty of fluids and hot liquids.
