What Causes A White Spot On Side Of Tongue?

Question: on last monday night i noticed a white spot under my tongue side , can u please explain what it is ??
i dont have pain
is this a mouth ulcer ????
i marked that spot with a black circle
do i need to worry about this ???
please go through the photograph
is this a XXXXXXX of mouth cancer ???

Read your query and gone through reports (image ) you have attached as far as I have observed there is nothing to be worry . Based on what i see it looks like Mucocele . This is not a sign of oral cancer . It happens when there is minor trauma in salivary glands present in oral cavity .

This mucocele will heal in a few days, but if it hurts you can apply ointment that contain lignocaine and choline salicylate for a week. Your local chemist will know about it
-Do warm saline rinses two to three times a day .
- You can take vitamin B supplements that are available over the counter.
- Maintain good oral hygiene . Use mothwash regularly .

The lesion will heal in one week. If it is not healing then consult good oral surgeon for clinical examination and get it evaluated .

Read your query you need not to worry about this XXXXXXX . Some Causes for mucocele are when duct become damaged or blocked , repeatedly bite or suck in lower lip , cheek or gettig hit in face . Medicine for this you can apply ointment containing lignocaine and choline salicylate. Do warm saline rinses 2 to 3 times a day . Use mouthwash like Chlorhexidine regularly.
