What Causes Abdominal Bloating While On Microgestin?

Question: I started taking Microgestin about a month ago. A couple weeks in I started feeling very bloated (shirts and my wedding ring even look more snug, almost overnight.) Does this side effect ever go away? Or is it something that goes hand-in-hand with the pill? If i were to go off the pill, do I need to taper, after only a month, or can I just stop?
