What Causes Abdominal Cramps, Gas, Nausea, Loss Of Appetite And Night Sweats?
Question: hi, I have been experiencing cramping, gas, light nausea, lack of appetite and night sweats....it started in my lower abdomen below my belly button, then moved to the area around my belly button and the area feels tender, burping is easy, where working the gas the other direction is slightly difficult(takes manipulation) like laying my belly on a pillow and rotating from belly, to side, to back, to other side, laying in each position about 2-5 minutes....thank you
oh yeah, and head fogginess, but it only happened for one day right after the first of 2 sweaty nights, the second sweaty night did not cause head fog...

Brief Answer:
I think you have severe indigestion and gastritis due to something you ate.
Detailed Answer:
Hi welcome to HCM, I think you have severe indigestion and gastritis due to something you ate.
Please take a preparation containing Omeprazole and a good OTC digestive enzyme preparation plus something like gasex.
I recognise the fact that you have Crohns. None of the above will exacerbate it.
You can revert back--regards

I also forgot to add mild hot flashes, this all started almost two weeks ago and progressed from their, being the reason I messaged you...thank you..
Brief Answer:
may be you got a touch of mild fever with sweating --as part of the gastrit
Detailed Answer:
Hi, may be you got a touch of mild fever with sweating --as part of the gastritis.
That's the only way we can co-relate all the symptoms.
Unless we consider the sweats and hot flashes separately which I personally do not think is the case.
But if we do, then you need to check your blood pressure. regards

thank you...yes, the sweating and hot flashes are separate...the hot flashes are when I am awake and are mild, the sweating happens when I am sleeping, and soaks my sheets and blanket, I do drink lots of water...I have checked my blood pressure and it was kind of weird, my left arm was showing somewhat normal 134/84 with a pulse of 84, and my right arm was showing 186/129 with a pulse of 105...tonight, on my right arm it was 123/74 with pulse of 78, my left arm was 113/83 with a pulse of 79...the machine I am using is a CVS/pharmacy IHD(irregular heartbeat detector), it inflates 3 times each use, then gives you the average...thank you...
Brief Answer:
Hi I think you should get your pressure checked by a doctor.
Detailed Answer:
Hi I think you should get your pressure checked by a doctor.
If it is really fluctuating this much then a 24 hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring known as Holter may be called for. Regards
