Question: since i was 39 when i had a stomach doctor i was told told i had ibs. traces of it was found after a colonoscopy. i am 44 now. yesterday i had mixed vegetables and chicken breast, few hours later i ate two eggs and toast. few hours later i had stomach pain and diahrrea. i woke up today and had a cup of green tea the pain is gone but i notice my stomach still making noises. what should i do from this point?

Such symptoms can be caused by some intestinal infection. Usually such infection does not need any treatment and goes away by its own.
As you have had some intestinal issues before, it would be good to have stool test and stool culture test. Rifaximine treatment and probiotic intake should be considered.
