What Causes Abdominal Pain, Fatigue, Insomnia And Depression When Diagnosed With Hypergammaglobulinemia?
Question: I tested positive twice for polyclonal hypergammaglobulinemia. Could that be what is causing all my symptoms? What other blood tests should be performed to determine a diagnosis?
Brief Answer:
Please tell me about your symptoms.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, dear
I have gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.
You are tested positive for hypergammaglobulinemia.
But please tell me about your symptoms so that I can tell you whether it is due to hypergamma globulinemia or some other cause. And tests you required.
Common symptoms are pain, insomnia, fatigue, weakness, anxious and depressed mood etc.
Symptoms of associated liver disease or connective tissue disease can be there.
So provide me your symptoms.

Brief Answer:
Hyperviscosity and anxiety disorder symptoms.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Your most of the symptoms are due to hyper viscosity caused by polyclonal gamma globulinemia. You also have some issues related to anxiety. So symptoms are aggravated.
For anxiety disorder you should consult psychiatrist.
For hyper gamma globulinemia you should search the cause for it and take treatment accordingly.
You should go for complete blood count, liver function test, ANA by IIF. This will help you to find the primary cause of hyper gamma globulinemia.
Plasmapheresis and steroids are helpful.
Consult your doctor and plan accordingly.

I already consulted my doctors and they cannot find where the inflamation is. They cannot determine a diagnosis. I attached my hospital record maybe you can help me.
Brief Answer:
Detailed answer given below.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
I have gone through your all reporta and record. You already have gone through many investigations.
Your ESR is slightly high.
Your liver function test is normal. Your ANA test is also normal. You don't have any malignancy in major organs. Rest all other investigations are also normal.
So its very difficult to search the cause of hyper gamma globulinemia.
But still you should take steroids to reduce inflammation.
If still you have symptoms of hyper viscosity then go for plasmapheresis.
Take treatment of your anxiety disorder according to advise of psychiatrist.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
