What Causes Abdominal Pain With Metallic Taste In Mouth And Blurred Vision?
No worries as of now, be watchful
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the query,
It might be necessary to know if you generally experience such pain before menses and if the timing and intensity is always the same. In case this has changed, or any new symptoms have been experienced this time around, it might be worth investigating. In case you experience some breast fullness and other regular signs of menstrual onset, the cramps might be associated to menses. It might be necessary also to note if you experience any upper abdominal pain or reflux symptoms. This could partly explain the metallic taste you are experiencing, and could be easily managed with drugs (proton pump inhibitors and antacids). A recent travel or change of environment could lead to an alteration in the menstrual cycle. Stress, exercise and diet could also alter your normal cycle. A proper clinical review and physical examination however remain very important in the evaluation process.
Acute onset of blurred vision, especially if you have no past medical history of eye disease or diagnosed visual abnormalities is important to be investigated. Blurred vision of acute onset, if not accompanied by severe pain or tearing on exposure to light is usually transient/not permanent and should not raise any serious panic. I suggest you remain cam and watchful for a few days. In case symptoms persist or aggravate, you might have to consult a doctor.
I really do not think you should be so worried as of now. But remain watchful. Kind regards as I wish you the best of health.
