What Causes Abdominal Pain, lower Back Pain And Milky Discharge From Nipples?

I also have a larger areola on my breasts and if I squeeze my nipples milky liquid comes out but it isn't even a lot. My April period is late, it should of been here April 22nd.
I did have sex March 10th and took Plan B One Step 7.5 hours later, but I got my period March 22nd. It abruptly ended March 27th but it never got light, it just stopped. I took a pregnancy test yesterday April 26th, way over a month of having sex , and it came out negative. I am not pregnant but my April period isn't here. I been having these symptoms for over a month and I don't feel any PMS symptoms at the moment. What can be the cause of this besides pregnancy and pms because I think this is something else? I hate this, I am crying because of the pain
Most liekly I pill
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,
There are a few reasons for the above symptoms.
It may be due to a urinary infection or stones. The pain in both of these may be severe. Infection may also give rise to fever and frequent urination.
Other cause may be an ovarian cyst. This gives rise to hormonal imbalances and may lead to cramps and delayed periods. I pill also delays periods.
Disorders of the thyroid and prolactin may also produce similar symptoms. Repeated squeezing of nipples or repeated nipple stimulation also causes raised prolactin and may delay periods. So do not do this.
As of now, I suggest that you begin a light exercise [ not heavy as it will further delay periods] routine for a few days and decrease the stress as these factors are very important in regulating periods. Wait for a few more days. Most likely the periods will come as you are having cramps and breast engorgement. So keep patience.
If the periods are delayed for more than 2-3 weeks from now, then get an evaluation by a gynecologist. If the pain is severe you may need to see a doctor now and get examined for the above causes.
I feel that it is the I pill that is causing the delay and periods will come in a few days if you wait and do mild exercise daily.
Hope this was helpful.
Feel free to ask any further queries and I will be happy to help.
Thanks for using HCM.
Have a good day.

I have had the enlarged areola on my breasts for over a month, should I be concerned? The cramping has been going on for a month too. I'm very concerned about this.
Should I go to the doctor ASAP then?
Yes you need an examination.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome back,
Yes an enlarged areola, discharge from the breast and cramping for more than a month need an evaluation. However there is no need to panic. It may be just raised prolactin or a simple ovarian cyst or even the I pill.
I suggest that you get an examination and an ultrasound as well as a blood prolactin test.
Do not worry. All the causes I mentioned until now are treatable.
Take care.

I'm getting my period this week because the doctor said I had brown discharge when she did the pelvic test to check. Would this all be in my mind? Is Chateal birth control pill safe? I don't want any side effects and it's my first time taking birth control. Would birth control pills stop my cramping?
The pills is safe but all have some side effects
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome back,
If the nipples are normal then prolactin abnormalities are not the cause. Other reasons may be pelvic congestion or fibroids [ non cancerous uterine tumors] or endometriosis.
Chateal pill is a combined pill. However all pills have some side effects like weight gain, increased risk of blood clots, nausea and vomiting.
The pill is being prescribed to see if the symptoms are due to pelvic congestion as sometimes there is increased blood flow to the pelvis and it causes pain. Also conditions like endometriosis [ abnormal growth of the uterine lining inside the abdomen] and ovarian cysts also respond to the pill.
I suggest that if the periods have come let them flow for a day or two and then start the pill. You will need to use some backup contraception like condom for the next seven days if you do this. But it will allow all the collected blood to flow and decrease congestion.
Please check if the cramping is increasing or decreasing on day 2-3 of periods. If it is decreasing then it may be congestion and may respond to the pill. If it increases as long as the periods are there it may be endometriosis. I also assume that a pelvic examination was done and no abnormality was detected before the pills were prescribed.
So please take the pills and see how the symptoms respond. It is difficult to say if the symptoms will respond or not. You will have to take it and see. If the symptoms do not decrease then an ultrasound will be needed.
Hope this helped.
Please feel free to ask any further queries.
