What Causes Abnormal Stool Appearance?

Question: Hi there, for the past couple of days every time I pass a stool there is something left hanging from my bottom. I pull it out and it has a mass of poop on the other end, and is approximately 2 inches long, is brown and has rubbery consistency. It doesn't look like tapeworm or round worm. Is it part of my intestinal lining or rope worm? It's really getting me down and I don't want to leave the house. It also hurts when I poop.
