What Causes Abnormal Vaginal Bleeding After A Hysterectomy?
How much blood was lost?
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for contacting us at healthcare magic.
I have reviewed your information fully and will like to ask a few more questions before concluding and making possible propositions on how to approach this.
1. Did you have full hysterectomy or partial hysterectomy? Full means the cervix was removed and partial means the cervix is still in place.
2. How much blood loss are we talking about? Has this happened before or just happened once? Do you have an idea what caused this like sex, douching or was this spontaneous?
3. Do you have any other symptoms like vaginal discharge? Pains?
I hope to hear back from you on these and promise to respond as soon as your responses get here.
Waiting!
Let’s see if this happens again!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the responses.
Given that this is a one time observation, I will recommend we monitor only. If it happens again, give n your age, you would be required to seek a full medical evaluation. Bleeding could be caused by an infection, inflammation or other conditions such as cell changes. In these circumstances, it will certainly happen more than once.
Keep me posted if anything else comes up.
