What Causes Abnormal Vaginal Bleeding?

its not implantation bleed.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to hcm,
The fact that your previous menses was on 1st september , accordingly the restart of menses was well due in time in a 28 day cycle to have started on 29th. The menses has taken its normal course with start with brownish discharge, then reddish bleeding and then reducing again to spotting with brownish discharge.
An implantation bleed would have started 5 days after the intercourse and would have been in form of spotting only with light reddish brown discharge and lasted only for 2-3 days only, so this is a menstrual bleed and not an implantation bleed.
However to confirm you may get a serum beta hcg test done which if negative shall rule out pregnancy completely.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
As i said the bleeding and spotting pattern can be deceptive even for practitioners to decipher, the bleeding can vary from brown to red then to reddish brown and then brown , but without an evidence it would be difficult to comment on implantation bleed.
So the best way would be to get a serum beta hcg test for checking the hcg levels which if are still less than 1ng/dl -2ng/dl, then there is no pregnancy at all.
