The spotting date corresponds to the date of of your expected periods, in case you were not pregnant so it is likely that it is not something very serious.
But as dictum we believe that any spotting in pregnancy should not be taken lightly so in my opinion you should get an ultrasound done at the earliest.
Also avoid heavy work, avoid intercourse and take a lot of rest in the meantime.
