What Causes Abnormal Visual Sensation?

For now, do nothing except monitoring for a repeat
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this abnormal visual sensation that you experienced. From your symptoms, this is very non specific and not immediately suggestive of any typical brain lesion. Though you had an accident a few days back, these symptoms are not explained by a possible brain injury. This is also less likely as CT scans have all failed to show any brain lesion.
For now, monitoring is enough. Should it recur or new symptoms set in, please seek immediate medical attention. Though I am very much of the opinion that this is an incidental finding that does not represent a disease or a disease process, I will like that we stay very vigilant for other accompanying troublesome signs like poor vision, severe headaches and vomiting, excessive sleepiness, etc.
This not a symptom of stroke or heart attack either.
In all, sit and monitor for warning signs and recurrence should that be the case. There is no need fr an ER visit right now.
I hope this helps and addresses your query fully. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications should need be.

It is normal and understandable to be scared!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this follow up information.
It is normal and understandable t get worried when something strange is observed. At this time, let's be very observant so as to pinpoint any further occurrence or abnormality for immediate investigation and management.
Because you had a poor sleep, I will recommend that you get enough rest. This should probably help with this headache.
I hope that this helps. I wish you well. Do not hesitate to contact me should something new come up.
