What Causes Abrasions On Penis Post Unprotected Sex?
Question: Hi, I have scratches on skin (head of penis). This is happening always after intercourse without protection and getting pain. I am facing same problem each time when doing intercourse without protection. So I am always afraid to do intercourse without protection. Let me know some suggestion or medicine for the same.
Brief Answer:
You can use emollient cream.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
i have gone through your query and picture. You can use emollient cream for local application on penis head to avoid scratch. Also avoid soaps and irritants to wash penis and instead you can use just warm water.
For healing cuts and scratch I would suggest to use creams or ointments like surfaz-SN containing antifungal agents like clotrimazole , anti bacterial like neomycin and corticosteroids like beclamethasone for local application.
Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.

Thanks for quick reply. Why it's happening always? You mean to say: need to use emollient cream before intercourse. If healing cut and scratch is there, then apply surface-SN or clotrimazole or neomycin and becclamethasone. I hope there should not be any side effect or reaction. Thanks :)
Brief Answer:
Lack of moisturization or fungal infection can be the reason.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome again.
Thank you for your follow up query.
Lac of moisturization or fungal infection can be the reason for getting this. Using soaps and irritants to wash the area can increase this. That is why I advise you to avoid it and use just warm water for this. Surfaz sn cream which is a triple action cream containing clotrimazole ,neomycin and beclamethasone can be used to cure the cuts and scratch. This usually doesn't give any side effects. If you are allergic to any of its contents then there can be some irritation. Emollient cream also doesn't have any side effects usually.
Using emollient cream will help you to be moisturised and avoid such scratches.
