What Causes Acid Reflux, Irregular Heartbeat, Dry Skin And Ankle Swelling?

Question: First of all I have been having a problem with acid reflux after most anything I eat. I have taken Prilosec for a week or two at a time and then stopped and had no problem for awhile. As of late I have had a problem with my heart sending a "blip" I do not know how to describe it really. It seems to skip a beat and I feel a push of blood. It's so hard to describe. I also have had my ankles swell sometimes, but I know I have not been drinking enough water. I also have anxiety and I think I forget to breathe sometimes and maybe that is why my heart does this. Also my skin has been very dry and my feet burn and itch. I also have been very tired and am very concerned with my heart.

Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
There can be various reasons for your symptoms which may include non serious problems like anaemia with hypoprotenemia on one end and serious problems like uncontrolled hypertension or may be early cardiac failure on other end.
It is not possible for me to pinpoint the exact cause without a proper clinical examination and relevant investigations.
Best would be to consult an internal medicine specialist and get evaluated thoroughly by getting detailed investigations like complete metabolic profile,EKG,echocardiogram etc.
Treatment would become easy once proper diagnosis is made.
