What Causes Acute Muscle Pain In Hands And Forearms Post Intake Of Amoxicillin?

Question: I have been suffering very bad asthma and a chest infection for the last week causing a shortness in breathing and a very wheezy chesty cough (phlegm build up)
I use Inhalers (reliever and preventer pipes) regularly
Today I went to see a doctor at the Hospital
The doctor prescribed me Amoxicillin (500mg) 3 times a day (1 week)
Within an hour of taking the first pill i began to suffer an acute muscular pain on both my hand palms, fingers, thumbs, wrists and forearms - pain and discomfort lasted for a few hours up until night time
I could say this pain maybe similarly related to a 'writers spasm' or focal hand dystonia
Thank you Doctor,

Hi,
Thank you for query.
People with asthma will have triggering of body pain on and off.
More over in your case Tab amoxycillin leads to pain over Upper limb which is common.
Once you stop the medication,it disappears. As you are asthmatic You can't even take a pain killer.
