What Causes Am Empty Gestational Sac?

Question: HI,
My LMP was 19/9/2014,I missed my period after 10 days(27/10/2014) I got positive HCG urine test but nothing is visible in scan.Doctor asked me to report after four days (1/11/2014).Now she said she could see empty gestational sac measuring 18.33 mm mean diameter.
but in scan picture it dont look like empty .Please have a look and suggest

Hello, I understand your anxiety but there is nothing to worry.
It is common to have an empty sac in such an early gestation.
Ultrasound is done at this stage just to see if the sac is in uterus or other ectopic site like fallopian tubes.
Get a repeat scan after 10 days and it will be confirmation of live baby inside the sac (an empty sac means there are no heart pulsations as yet).

Thank You So much for your reply doctor,
but
in report they have stated that no evidence of even yolk sac.
but if I see the scan picture i could see some structure inside the gestational sac .
I request you to please see my attached scan picture

I have seen that picture and that is just an artifact and even if there was a yolk sac it is not of any significance till there is a cardiac activity.
So just be positive and wait till next ultrasound.
