What Causes Amyloid Cyst?
Deposition of abnormal cells - please give details.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query, albeit very short.
Amyloid cyst is a condition where the normal tissues are replaced by abnormal tissues which have defective proteins. And this localized part becomes like a cyst, a well localized mass or so.
The seriousness depends upon the location of the deposits, the disruption of the anatomy and functions it has caused, and if there is a primary disease that has caused amyloid cyst.
Since you have undergone MRIs, X-ray, may I please know the location of the amyloid cyst?
Please give details related to the problem you have mentioned, symptoms that you have and the reports of the tests you have undergone. This will help me to assist you further.
Still have ovaries, don't know why they weren't removed with TVH.
What are the symptoms do you have?

Thanks for your feedback.
Read and understood that you have cyst on left ovary which has been diagnosed as amyloid, also have CKD (do you mean to say chronic kidney disease).
Please tell me the reason you had consulted an Orthopedic Surgeon who has opined about consulting Oncologist Ortho Surgeon. Please give details.
It will be difficult to say about why the ovaries were not removed at TVH 5 years ago.
Yes I do mean Chronic Kidney Disease, Stage 3. Since 2007

Thanks for your feedback.
The pain from left waist going into groin and down left leg is suggestive of some spinal pathology for which MRI of the spine must have been done. Was it normal for the discs or so?
The Ovarian problem is seen by a Gynecologist hence referred you to the Gynecologist. It seems that the cyst is 1.5 cm hence small, amyloid means not cancerous and this might have been the reason that your Gynecologist must have assured you not to worry. So please stop worrying as this cyst can not be a reason for your pains that you explained.
Take proper care of CKD, go to the root of the pains so that probable treatment can be done well.
Wishing you a good recovery.
