What Causes An Allergic Reaction To A Bug Bite?

I entertained the idea of bugs, because I did just get back from the laundromat. But the "bite" marks are not spreading. Like the glass has settled in. So glass or bugs?
Doesnt seem to be glass dust it in my opinion is an allergy.

Hello,
Thanks for writing to Health Care Magic, I am Dr Muhammd Ahmad, I have closely read your question and I understand your concerns, I will hereby guide you regarding your health related problem.
There Can be A number of possibilities in this scenario which have to be taken under consideration, I would explain them briefly to give you some idea.
An allergy:
In my opinion allergy fits best in this scenario, your car was a mess at that time and there must have been flying off particles and dust to be inhaled or come in contact with skin, this set of particles caused allergy and this caused rash which you called as bug bites and the same allergy caused pins and needles sensation in your body which you are suspecting as glass dust.
Here I want to mention that glass dust can't be in your skin without damaging it and it can not reach under skin if inhaled so glass dust seems to be a remote possibility.
I would suggest you to use simple over the counter anti allergic like Citerizine and see it's effect in 3..4 days, Tylenol can also be taken in case of pain. I would encourage you to attach a picture of rash that will help me clear things further.Otherwise next best step is to use simple OTC meds to help with the problem.
I hope this answers the question if you have more concerns feel free to ask.
Regards.
Dr.Muhammad Ahmad.
General and Family Physician..

Hello
Thanks for writing back,
many allergies happen for the first time, I did mention that the rash can be an allergic reaction to glass and other particals in contacts with your skin at that time, That's why I asked you to try attaching picture of the rash as this will clear up many things plus I would be able to see if there is a suoer added infection too.
Here I would like to mention that it was a unique situation which wouldnt have happened to you before so probably you didnt have such allergy before.
If you don't have any wound or visible problems at the place where you feel the glass then this is most probably not the glass in your skin.
Why dont you try taking citerizine and tylenol 500mg at night for 5 nights and see if it works. I believe you will feel relived. Do ice the place where skin is affected. Rub dicloran or brufen gel there too. I am quite positive that it might help
