What Causes An Empty Gestational Sac During 5th Week Of Pregnancy?
You should wait ...
Detailed Answer:
Hi, dear and thanks for your query to HealthcareMagic.
I have read your question carefully and understand your concern.
In fact, at 5 weeks of gestational age in the transvaginal scan, we should see a yolk sac.
But in my practice of Gynecology, I have had patient as you in whom I haven't seen a yolk sac on 5 weeks of gestational age but when they came after one week I have seen a yolk sac inside gestational sac.
Hence, in my opinion, you should not worry too much and wait one week more and do another transvaginal scan.
Hope I have been helpful and please feel free for further discussion.
Best regards
