I uploaded picture of my elbow.
This rash came up about two to three months ago. It disappeared. It has come back over and again, but would go away about every third day. This time it come up and will not go away. It has been two weeks and seems to be more pronounced. WE haven't changed anything. Washing powders for clothes is same. Itches badly. There is a light rash on other elbow but nothing bad. Just the rash on right elbow is bad.
Someone told me it was staph infection. I don't know. It itches and is bumpy and scaly.
I have never had rashes before. About 6 months ago a rash come on my neck and then it went away in a week. Hasn't come back. The elbow rash comes and goes but this time isn't going away.
I don't have health insurance so can't go to doctor at this time. I have used no medications until today. I have bad allergies with watery itchy eyes so I took anti hytimine.

Brief Answer:
Possible contact dermatitis with overlying infection
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I looked carefully the picture you uploaded.
It looks like contact dermatitis which may have been infected from staphylococcus at the same time.
A steroid cream with antibiotic would help it heal faster. You can find it over the counter.
If you don't find this combination, then a tripple antibiotic may be enough.
Do not put a bandaide on it, because wet may make it worse. Try to avoid contact with surfaces you notice make it worse.
If worse or not better you may need to see a local doctor. It worries me that fact that you have had this lesions in places where psoriasis lesions appear. But the one you have in the picture does not look like that, maybe its the picture though.
So my recommendation would be to apply the creams maximum 2 weeks, and then if not helpful, consider seeing a doctor.
Hope this is helpful.

Is it something that is contagious to others?
Brief Answer:
It doesn't look like the infection that gets spread.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
It doesn't look like it from the photo. But if it produces secretions, then be carefull anyway.
If you apply the cream it would reduce the possibility of spreading any type of bacteria.
Regards.
