What Causes An Itchy Red Bump On The Shaft Of The Penis?

Question: I have a single red itchy bump on the shaft of my penis that occurred about 2 weeks ago. I noticed the night before it appeared, that my penis was itchy that night. When I woke up I had a pink colored bump that was slightly itchy. It's about 2 mm in diameter. Typically, it appears round with a dimple in the middle. About every 3 days it will get itchy and a milky white head appears on it and then disappears.

It is looking like a fungal infection.
I treat such cases with an antifungal cream like clotrimazole to be applied twice daily for two weeks and tablet fluconazole 150 mg per week for the same duration.
This combination works well.
