Question : Hi Doctor,
I have a little uncomfortable feeling in my throat. Especially when i swallow saliva.
No a very heavy pain, but little faint. When i tried to touch inside of my throat near the tonsils area, i feel a little small bone like thing . apart from this, i have a sharp pain on the collar bone not sure if they are related.

Brief Answer:
This could be due to elongated styloid process.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I had gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.
This could be due to elongated styloid process. This is usually present underneath the tonsilar area on either side. If the length of the styloid process is longer than the usual, it can cause these symptoms. You could be palpating the same when you touch in the tonsilar area. Nothing to worry.
I recommend the following.
1) CT scan to confirm the abnormal styloid process.
2) For temopary relief you can take analgesic like tablet ibuprofen.
3) This could be treated by excision. Consult an ENT surgeon and discuss for the same.
You will be fine.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any questions, I am happy to help.
Wish you a good health and speedy recovery.
