Brief Answer:
Nice to know; could have been allergy to proteins or lactose

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Nice to hear from you again.
It is good to know that stopping the dairy products and starting Soya milk has helped your child.
This is the importance of stool tests as it would have shown intolerance milk proteins or lactose.
Developing intolerance to milk proteins at the age of 8 years is not very common. The Protein allergy may show coexisting symptoms of skin rash, runny nose or some other allergic manifestation. Lactose intolerance allows the bacterial outgrowth causing the similar intestinal symptoms.

Zentel is given for the worms (looks to be on empirical basis).

How is the stool consistency, color and frequency?
Any stool tests or others tests done?
