What Causes Anal Bleeding?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: I am having anal bleeding w out bowel movement possibly caused by hemorroid. Have history of hemorroid and hemorroidectomy 2 years ago. Have struggled a lot since my surgery never felt like it worked. Should i be concerned seems like a lot of blood loss.
Brief Answer:
Get a baseline Hemoglobin done
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing in
Occasional bleeding after hemorrhoid surgery is not to be worried about
Most times few drops change the color of water in the toilet and patients feel it is lot of bleeding
I would suggest get a baseline hemoglobin done and get it repeated after 6 weeks, if there is fall in HB you need treatment
Also take care of your bowel movements
See that you are not constipated nor infected
A good probiotic for two weeks may do some good
Hope this helps

Hi
Thanks for the information
If seems you have developed a fissure and/or hemorrhoids.
It would be better if you get examined by a surgeon in your vicinity to rule out anal fissure.
In the mean time start sitz bath, a probiotic twice a day will help you.
Avoid constipation by using laxatives.
