Brief Answer:
It is most probably psychosis and treatable

Detailed Answer:
Hllo,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

I am really shocked to know someone from affluent class is suffering for last three years without proper treatment. I don't understand delay for treatment in such a person who is well aware of internet thing but fail to visit mental health professional.

From the available description it appears that girl in question is suffering with psychosis which kind of treatable disorder. I understand that it is not easy for patient to recognize her symptoms and she may deny need for treatment but once the medication is started she may get her insight back and take necessary steps in treatment process.

As you know this is psychiatric disorder you need to visit a psychiatrist as soon as possible. The duration of untreated psychosis is most important prognostic factor and I do not feel we should lengthen this period although it is above 30 months on this day.

I hope this helps you.
Thanks and regards.

Brief Answer:
They can be as predictive as normal person

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for reverting back to me.

I am glad to now that information was useful for you.

Regarding your current questions 1. As per the website policy I am not supposed to name a hospital or doctor but as per my knowledge both XXXXXXX and XXXXXXX have medical colleges and multiple hospitals with good experience and you can approach any of them.

2AND 3. Yes almost 70% of patients remit completely and lead a productive life. This includes family as well as occupational life. I do not thing there remains any limitations once it is completely treated.

I must inform you that medications should never be manipulated without consent of doctor as this is life time disorder in most cases.

Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
If not, you may close the discussion and if possible you may rate the answer for my future patients.
