What Causes Atrial Fibrilation?
Question: I have Atrial Fib and is on medication but sometimes out of the blue I get an attack and when this happens I tend to use the bathroom very often. Why does this happen.
Brief Answer:
Further evaluation by cardiologist is advised...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
You are reporting to have atrial fibrilation (AF) , for which you take medications.
As you are having attacks that make you use the bathroom very often, this makes me think that perhaps your AF is not well controlled. I suggest to consult with your cardiologist and to run Holter monitoring to evaluate your heart rhythm.
My thoughts are over possible heart pauses for a while, which is considered as stress situation by your body. That's why you tend to use bathroom very often when you got the attack.
Please monitor your blood pressure and blood sugar, record the results for further evaluation by your doctor.
All the best!
