What Causes Bacterial Keratitis?
Antibiotics needed.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Bacterial keratitis has occurred due to a scratch while using contact lens. That scratch got infected with bacteria. Since the infection is right in the middle of the eye, you have fogginess.
Follow the instructions carefully. Get regular follow up to ensure there is no fungal infection added to bacterial infection, as that requires different treatment and takes longer to control.
Don't use lenses during treatment. Later on, get a new pair of lenses. There have been probably an issue of hygiene during your lens use which has led to the present situation. We will discuss that when you get over this infection.

Antibiotics to continue...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Recovery depends upon the sensitivity of organisms to the antibiotic given. If it takes longer, then culture and sensitivity give an accurate antibiotic to be prescribed.
Fogginess will keep improving as the keratitis resolves.
