I have seen the attached picture and understand your concern.

Be assured that it is nothing dangerous or serious.


It does look like a semi digested food particle, small bits some times get stuck in the small nooks and corners in the tonsil and once stuck, it gets digested by the bacteria and more bacteria pile up onto that. This is one of the causes for bad breath. If there is no pain in the area, then you do not need any treatment other than just dislodging it from the corner.

Please visit your local ENT doctor and get it removed.

If there is associated pain, then you might require a course of antibiotics to deal with the infection.

Consult your ENT doctor/PCP and get that removed.
