Question : i have undergone low-dose brachytherapy last week and now notice a large portion of my scrotum to be very black and blue. i have no pain or discomfort (or inability) to pee - only this horrible looking bruise.

Hello,

The bruise comes as a side effect of procedure because the needle is inserted through the skin between your scrotum and your anus and may have damaged small scrotal vessels causing bruise. It is good you are not experiencing other discomforts. The bruise will go away by its own. You can help it using an ice package covered with clothes. Use briefs not boxers for support. Have rest.
