What Causes Black Discoloration Near The Eye?

Question: EVery morning I wake up with a black eye in the corner only extended up to the eye lid. At one time I was rubbing my eyes from allergies. But that was month ago. It did go away now it is there every morning and my allergies are not bothering me.
