Brief Answer:
Requires investigations for gastric ulcer or SOL

Detailed Answer:
Hi, XXXXXXX
Thanks for posting query on HGM.
Read short history of your problem.
Passing black color stool at this age requires few investigations to conclude and approaching proper diagnosis.
You might require,
Stool testing for occult blood.
Ultra sound of abdomen,
Colonoscopy,
Gastroscopy.
There can be possibilities of having,
chronic gastritis or gastric ulcer,
Some space occupying lesion (SOL ) in intestinal tract.
H/o taking any blood thinner or NSAID or iron supplement medicines.
I advice to consult Gastro-enterologist and get examined.
Meanwhile take milk diet, curd, rice etc.
Avoid fried, chilies and junk food.
I hope, I answered your query.
If you have further query or clarification, please write back.
Wishing you speedy recovery.

Dr. Ramesh Vachharajani, MBBS, XXXXXXX XXXXXXX XXXXXXX
