Brief Answer:
Black stools

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your message.
I think I can help you.
There are 2 possible causes of black stools
1. a possible iron supplement intake
2. bleeding of the stomach.
First needs stopping the medicines and waiting 7 days.
Second needs urgent ugi endoscopy by a gastroenterology specialist.
So if you are not on the iron tablets meet a gastroenterology specialist asap.
Get a stool occult blood tested.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information contained in this message will be able to help you find the best solution for your problem. Best of luck. Dr Mittal.
