What Causes Black Tongue, Indigestion And Burning While Swallowing?
Question: my tongue over night developed a dark color, over the last few days i've developed indigestion or heart burn

I have read your query and understand your concern however I would like to ensure you that there is nothing to worry regarding this.
In your case it appears clearly due to the pepto bismol being used by you for your heart burns. Bismuth present in pepto bismol is the basic cause for black tongue.
Just scrap your tongue well twice a day.
Stop taking oily and spicy foods and alcohol for few days to help in your heart burn.
Once you stop using pepto bismol,your tongue would regain normal colour.
