What Causes Bleeding After A Medical Abortion?
Question: HI Doctor, My question is related to gyne problem. My wife had a medical abortion and it is over one month and still bleeding is not stoping. What should i do?IS there any medicine to stop this?

In my opinion the medical termination of pregnancy (MTP)is possible upto 6-7 weeks.
Usually bleeding lasts for a week or 10 days after medical MTP.
But as there is continuous bleeding consider doing an ultrasound to check for any retained products.
Retained products present with irregular or continuous bleeding.
Consult doctor and get an ultrasound done.
I suggest you always take the pill under doctor supervision as they are associated with complications like heavy bleeding, incomplete abortion etc.
If any retained products are found in ultrasound then you might need a small procedure called D&C to evacuate them.
