Brief Answer:
Proctocolitis
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for providing the additional information.
You are having symptoms of proctocolitis. This is the condition in which the rectum and the colon are inflamed. There are a number of causes and infection being the most common cause.
Since it started only this morning infection should be considered first. You can take a course of antibiotics.
If the symptoms are persistent or if the bleeding does not stop, get medical attention and you may require tests like sigmoidoscopy to rule out other causes like inflammatory bowel disease etc.
I hope that answers your question.
Please let me know if you have any more questions.
Regards,
Dr.R.K.
