What Causes Bleeding Gums, Headache And Numbness In Tongue And Lips?

Question: My 20 year old son has been experiencing numbness of his tongue and lips for 2 days. He said that he hurts all over and that his gums have been bleeding. He has a horrible headache as well. What could be causing this?
