Question : Had a bleeding nipple a few years back, I believe from dry skin and weather change. My gyno recommended an ointment and I have forgotten the name of ointment. Any suggestions?
Brief Answer:
OTC topical steroid

Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic
I am Dr. Kakkar. I have gone through your query.
This is probably due to a mild dermatitis of the nipple, which can sometimes happen due to low humidity in cold conditions/weather and also if you wear woolens directly touching on the skin.
You may use a mild topical steroid e.g Hydrocortisone 1% cream, which is available OTC. Use it twice daily after the moisturizer.
Regards
