What Causes Bleeding Post I-Pill Intake?
My last period was on 10th October and next period due on 7th Nov. I m fairly regular.
While having sex, the condom broke, although my friend says that he did not ejaculate in the condom but there must be some precum.
I took the ipill within 6 hours.
My period came yesterday, but they did not look normal, blood flow was less and it was very thick.
I have the following questions:
1. What are the chances of getting pregnant on 22nd day of cycle, assuming m regular with 28-29 days.
2. What are the chances of getting pregnant with precum?
3. Is it normal to have such periods after taking the ipill?
What are my chances of getting pregnant?
Very slight chances of pregnancy
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
I will answer your questions as you asked:
1. Fertile period of a female with 28 days menstrual cycle is from day 8 to 22, therefore any sexual activity on day 22 has a chance of pregnancy.
2. Precum contains sperms and can very well lead to pregnancy.
3. Periods are usually delayed or with less blood flow after taking the i pill, due to its hormonal effect.
I will suggest you to get a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy, if the period flow is very scanty.
Hope you found the answer helpful. Please do get back for further queries.
Wishing you good health.

What is the percentage chance of getting pregnant by precum?
How much period should be counted as scanty?. I am bleeding only thick blood clots on my first day. It is not a normal flow. Is it something to worry about? Does ipill cause this or this is a symptom of pregnancy?
Thank you.
low chances of pregnancy
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
Exact percentage of chances of pregnancy on day 22 is not defined, however the chances are quite low.Chances of pregnancy by precum is same as that by semen, as both contain sperms.
Scanty flow is defined as soakage of less than one pad per day.
Scanty flow is most likely due to the effect of the I pill.
However, to be sure, you should rule out pregnancy by doing a urine pregnancy test.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
