What Causes Bleeding Under The Skin With Controlled BP?

Question: I am 80 yrs. old.I have high blood pressure,but it is under control with meds.My problem is each time something hits my armsor legs blood or blood under the skin appears.What is the cause? My Dr.says old age ,I know many oln people without this problem.Thank You

Detailed Answer: Hi there, Bleeding under the skin is a sign which refers to problems related to: - thinner skin - fragile blood vessels under the skin - problems with blood coagulation If you are taking any : - blood thinning drug - fish oil supplement then, they can be possible causes too.
