
What Causes Blister Above Buttocks Despite Having Normal Pap Smear Test?

Question: I have a blister above my butt, but it does not hurt....my paps have all been normal....what could this be

I thought those type blisters hurt....is that the only thing it could be? Should i visit my dermatologist, gyno, or regular doc?

it may be viral lesion which is not human papilomma virus,such as herpes simplex, or moluscum. Some specific skin infection such as pylonidal sinus or follicliutis may be cause as well but it would be painful and red in this case. All in all I dont think this is not serious and can be managed by GP who should take smear test and prescribe ointments specific for it.Wish you good health. Regards

Thanks....my 12 year old did had mollusum contagiosum on her toes and back and somehow it appeared on top of my vaginal area, we both are cured, but maybe its back again...will follow up with a dr
