What Causes Blister On Top Of Lip And Lip Swelling?
Question: Hi, i got a severe sunburn that lead to something like a blister on top of my lip with redness and lip swelling. What caused it? How can i treat it?
Apply vaseline jelly or lip balm locally. Keep your lips moist and supple. You can use a lip gloss or balm with sun protection factor 30 to remove the sun burn.

Brief Answer:
Allergic skin reaction , take treatment
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same .
I have seen the attached picture . You seem to have developed a superficial skin blister . Sudden development of such a skin blister can occur either due to a severe sun burn or it can be due to some insect bite reaction.
In either case, you need to apply a topical steroid cream over the affected area to cure the allergic component and prevent any superinfection .
You can buy cortisone cream and apply it twice a day over the affected area.
In addition, use a sunscreen regularly before going out in the sun.
Do not apply any other cream or oil over it .
Hope it helps

Thank you for you reply, is using Systal Gel 20 g (Chlorphenoxamine hydrochloride) helps, what about ice or cold pads?
Brief Answer:
Allergic reaction skin, medicine application
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
Application of something cold like ice pack will surely help in bringing down the skin allergy but you would surely need to apply a topical steroid agent.
Systal gel might not help in your problem.
