What Causes Bloating, Intestinal Gas And Leg Pain?
Question: My brother age 57 is experiencing bloat/gassy feeling in the stomach and pain in the upper leg. He has previously experienced this sympton and referred to it as gas. It is very painful. Difficult walking with the impacted leg. Symptons have been going on for four days. Self medicated with GasX tablets but little relief.
Brief Answer:
may be due to involvement of Gall bladder, stomach, liver and Pancreas.
Detailed Answer:
Hi welcome to Health care magic,
Bloating and gas may be due to involvement of Gall bladder, stomach, liver and Pancreas. Pain in legs may be related.
Please ask him to take a course of Omeprazole, and a liquid antacid with simethicone.
He can add an OTC digestive enzyme preparation.
If there is no improvement in a week--please get an abdominal sonography, liver function tests and serum amylase for Pancreas.
Please revert back.
