Brief Answer:
Probably blood clot!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about what you noticed and all the inconveniences this must have caused you. I understand it can be very frightening to you but it seems to be a blood clot. Clotted blood is dark in color. When we have a cold, the vessels become fragile and bleeding becomes more common than usual. My advise would be that you ignore this and monitor for recurrence. Am sure there would be no need fro further action at this time unless something else comes up.

I hope this addresses your query fully. I wish you well and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
