Brief Answer:
It is not cancer. Do not worry.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for your query.
Blood in saliva after clearing the throat is usually because of congestion in nose and throat due of allergy and infection.
Once the congestion reduces, bleeding also stops.
If I were your treating doctor, I would have advised for blood work and coagulation profile.
If it's abnormal, then treat the cause.
If it's normal, then once congestion in the nose and sinuses reduces, the blood stained saliva also stops.
Decongestant nasal drops + decongestant tablet will surely help.
Non of symptoms are suggestive of cancer.
If symptoms persists, then please consult with your doctor and get evaluated.
Hope my answers have helped you. Thanks.

It happens even if I do not clear my throat. I just randomly spit and it's red for only a few spots then clear again my doctor says allergies and sinuses. I'm just really scared it's some type of cancer but it hasn't gotten worse in 8 months happens only a few times a month.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for your follow up query.
Since your blood work is normal. I don't see any reason for panicking.
And that too the blood stained saliva is happening only on few occasions in a month. So I don't see any symptoms of cancer. But still you have doubt you can consult with the doctor and get a CT SCAN of nose and paranasal sinuses. If there is any growth, or lesion, the scan will detect. Then further treatment can be done.

Hope my answers have helped you. Thanks.
